VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - MAY 19TH AT 6:00AM TO MAY 20TH AT 6:00PM

TO ALL IN RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the 2^nd-4^th floors of South RAL from Thursday, May 19^th at 6:00AM to Friday, May 20^th at 6:00PM. This outage is needed to replace fan controls and filters on DOA-101 and DOA-102. During this outage, there will be no supply or exhaust so the 2^nd-4^th floors of South RAL will need remain unoccupied for the outage duration. The following is a list of rooms that will need to be unoccupied:

• 333-379

• 433-479

To prepare for the outage, please make sure that all fume hood sashes are closed, all chemical and waste containers are closed, and that all lab doors are shut. Further details about the outage are listed below:

Building Occupants Effect : No airflow or lab exhaust (fume hoods out of service), no temperature control

Ventilation Fan No. : DOA-101 and 102

Ventilation Area. : west wing (fl 2/3/4) of south building

Comments : For safety reasons, the affected floors will need to be unoccupied for the outage duration

Reason : Replacing fan controls and performing filter changes
