VENTILATION OUTAGE - CLSL-A - JULY 7TH FROM 5:00AM TO 1:00PM

TO ALL IN CLSL-A:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting CLSL-A on Wednesday, July 7^th from 5:00AM to 1:00PM. This outage is needed to install a new exhaust fan motor as part of the ongoing ESCO project renovations. Fume hood exhaust may not be sufficient for safe use so no experiments should take place in the fume hoods during the outage. To prepare for the outage, please do the following:

Make sure all chemicals and waste containers are capped

Make sure all fume hood sashes are lowered

Building Occupants Effect : Fume hoods will continue to exhaust air but may not exhaust enough air for occupants to work safely within the hoods.

Ventilation Fan No. : EF-2

Ventilation Area. : CLSL A

Comments : Starting at 5:00a.m. to minimize lab down time in building. Requesting 8 hours but expecting work to take 6 hours. Schneider will notify departments once fans are fully operational again.

Shutoff Location : NOT APPLICABLE

Reason : Installing a new variable speed motor for exhaust fan. This work is part of U16061 EPC Proj 005.

LOW PRESSURE STEAM OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - JUNE 17TH FROM 6:00AM TO 3:30PM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a LOW PRESSURE STEAM OUTAGE affecting South RAL on Thursday, June 17^th from 6:00AM to 3:30PM. This outage is needed to replace steam control valves. During the outage, occupants may notice cooler than usual space temperatures as well as a loss of hot water. Further details regarding this outage are listed below:
