TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the 2^nd-4^th floors of South RAL on Wednesday, May 18^th from 6:00AM to 6:00PM. This outage is needed to change the bearings on both supply fans and the shaft on one of them. During this outage, occupants of the affected floors may notice warmer than usual temperatures. This outage will only affect the supply air so fume hoods will still be able to be used. Since the outage affects the makeup air to the fume hoods, lab doors should be left open to allow for the fume hoods to function properly. Further details about the outage are listed below:

Comments : Please leave lab doors open during outage to allow for make up air to fume hoods to be provided by building air.

Reason : To change bearings on SF-101 A & B and also shaft on SF-101 (A)

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the listed rooms on the ground and 1^st floors of South RAL on Tuesday, June 7^th from 6:00AM to 10:00AM. This outage is needed to service the fans and clean the coils associated with the system. During this outage, there will be no supply air available, exhaust to the fume hoods, or general exhaust. As a result, no experiments should be running in the fume hoods during the outage and the affected rooms should be unoccupied. To prepare for the outage:

• Make sure all fume hood sashes are closed

• Make sure all chemicals and waste containers are sealed
