VENTILATION OUTAGE - CLSL-A - JANUARY 4TH TO 6TH FROM 8:00AM TO 3:30PM DAILY

TO ALL IN CLSL-A:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting CLSL-A on Wednesday, January 4th to Friday, January 6th from 8:00AM to 3:30PM each day. These outages are needed to perform preventative maintenance on each of the listed fans. Only one fan will be taken down each day so occupants shouldn’t notice much, if any, reduction in exhaust. We do request that everyone keep their fume hood sashes closed when not in use. Further details about the outages are listed below:

During this outage, there will not be any exhaust available to the fume hoods or ventilated storage cabinets so there should be no research taking place in the fume hoods. To prepare for the outage, please make sure that all chemical and waste containers are closed and that the fume hood sashes are closed. Further details about the outage are listed below:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the listed rooms on Monday, November 21st from 9:00AM to 12:00PM(Noon). This outage is needed to do a vibration analysis along with possible repairs to the S-3 fan. During this outage, occupants of the affected rooms may notice short periods of time without supply air. Exhaust will still be available so research can continue as usual. Further details about the outage are listed below:

VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - NOVEMBER 16TH FROM 8:00AM TO 10:00AM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of South RAL on Wednesday, November 16th from 8:00AM to 10:00AM. This outage is needed to measure energy wheels for possible replacement project. Please note that this outage will only affect the supply air to the affected areas. Exhaust will still be available so research can continue as usual. In order to compensate for the loss of supply air, please keep the doors open to any labs where the fume hoods are in use. The affected rooms are as follows:

  • 233-279

  • 333-379

  • 433-479

Building Occupants Effect : Reduction in supply air.(Make up air) for a short amount of time. 15-30 minutes during the listed outage time.

Ventilation Area. : 2nd, 3rd,4th Floors South Labs (Make up air)

Comments : Please leave doors to labs open during this time to allow for loss of make up air to fume hoods. Fume Hoods can be used. This only affects the supply air.
