VENTILATION OUTAGE - CLSL-A - JANUARY 5TH FROM 6:00AM TO 2:30PM

TO ALL IN CLSL-A:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting CLSL-A on Wednesday, January 5th from 6:00AM to 2:30PM. This outage is needed to convert exhaust fan controls to DDC as part of the ongoing ESCO project renovations. During this outage, the general exhaust, lab exhaust, and fume hood exhaust will all be affected. The fume hood exhaust will be out of service until noon so the fume hoods will not be able to be used from 6:00AM to 12:00PM. To prepare for this outage, please make sure that:

  •     All chemical and waste containers are capped/sealed
  •     All fume hood sashes are lowered

Comments : Fan conversions will be completed consecutively and are expected to take one hour per fan

Shutoff Location : NOT APPLICABLE

Reason : Converting exhaust fan controls to DDC. This work is part of U16061 EPC Proj 005.

TOTAL WATER OUTAGE - NOYES LAB - DECEMBER 30TH FROM 6:00AM TO 4:00PM

F&S will be conducting a TOTAL WATER OUTAGE affecting Noyes Lab on Thursday, December 30th from 6:00AM to 4:00PM. This outage is needed to install a new water meter and valves. During this outage, there will be no hot or cold water available in the building. Further details about the outage are listed below:

Comments : Doing both meters in the building to avoid an additional outage.

Shutoff Location : INSIDE

Reason : Installing a new water meter, valves, (Work Order 10864097 & 10864095). New meter is for a ?Dashboard? project for Utilities.

During this outage, building occupants may notice a reduction in general exhaust. Fume hood exhaust will not be affected by this outage. Further details about the outage are listed below:
