PARTIAL ELECTRICAL OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - DECEMBER 4TH AND 5TH FROM 6:00AM TO 6:00PM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a PARTIAL ELECTRICAL OUTAGE affecting South RAL on Saturday, December 4^th and Sunday, December 5^th from 6:00AM to 6:00PM. This outage is needed to replace motor control centers that were damaged during the flood earlier this year. During this outage, a number of building utilities will be unavailable such as elevators, restrooms, lab vacuum and air, and water pumps. Attached is a full list of what will be affected during each outage. Most importantly, there will be no supply or exhaust air available so it will not be safe for the building to be occupied during the outage. To prepare for this outage please make sure that:

•  Fume hood sashes are closed

•  All chemical and waste containers are capped/sealed

It is not expected that this outage will shut down any of the 115V or 208V outlets but it would be prudent to prepare any sensitive equipment for loss of power. Further details about these outages are listed below:
