SCS Facilities & Safety Maintenance Tip - EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE

I

I  If you have an EMERGENCY maintenance issue, please contact the F & S Service Office FIRST at 217-333-0340. If it is before/after business hours or on the weekends, Public Safety mans the line and will contact the proper shop to check the emergency maintenance issue.   After contacting the F & S Service Office, ALWAYS contact myself and Ron Eggett via phone and/or email so we can follow up on the maintenance issue and make sure it is taken care of in a timely manner.

Examples of EMERGENCY maintenance issues include, but are NOT limited to, the following:
-Water Leaks (water gushing causing safety/flooding issues)
-Restroom Issues(overflowing toilets, continuous flushing, etc.)
     -Elevator Issues
-Heating/Cooling Issues that are affecting research experiments
-Refrigeration Issues that are affecting research experiments(Freezers, Cold Rooms, etc.)

ANY GAS SMELLS, SMOKE, OR FIRE SHOULD BE REPORTED TO 911!

This information and more maintenance tips are attached to this email and can also be found on the SCS Building Outages/Important Notices Blog:  www.scsbuildingoutages.blogspot.com
