VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - FEBRUARY 17TH FROM 7:00AM TO 8:30PM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the ground and 1^st floors of South RAL on Tuesday, February 17^th from 7:00AM to 8:30PM. This outage is needed to insulate SF-5 and install safety upgrades. During this outage, occupants of those floors will experience intermittent loss of supply air. Research can continue as usual in the affected areas but it is recommended to leave the lab doors open while working to allow for makeup air from the corridors to assist with fume hood operation. F&S will be conducting a LAB VACUUM OUTAGE affecting the 3^rd floor of CLSL-A on Tuesday, January 27^th from 7:00AM to 3:30PM. This outage is needed to repipe a section of the vacuum line in room A327. During the outage, all labs on the 3^rd floor will be without lab vacuum at both the fume hood turrets and bench turrets. To prepare for the outage, the occupants of A327 will need to clear the area around the sink and affected fume hood of all flammable materials and other obstructions.
