TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:
F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the ground and 1st floors of South RAL on Tuesday, February 17th from 7:00AM to 8:30PM. This outage is needed to insulate SF-5 and install safety upgrades. During this outage, occupants of those floors will experience intermittent loss of supply air. Research can continue as usual in the affected areas but it is recommended to leave the lab doors open while working to allow for makeup air from the corridors to assist with fume hood operation. Further details about the outage are listed below:

Comments : Make up air for fume hoods may fluctuate, be aware. May keep lab entry doors slightly open during outage to help compensate.
Reason : We will be switching units so SF-5 can be insulated and safety upgrades installed.
