EMERGENCY VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - AUGUST 9TH AT 6:00AM TO AUGUST 14TH AT 5:00PM

TO ALL IN SCS:

F&S will be conducting an EMERGENCY VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the 2^nd-4^th floors of South RAL (rooms x33-x79) from Wednesday, August 9^th at 6:00AM to Monday, August 14^th at 5:00PM. This outage is needed to replace the heat recovery wheels on the listed ventilation fans. During this outage, there will be no conditioned air or exhaust air present in the affected areas so nobody should be working on the affected floors. To prepare for the outage, please make sure that all fume hood sashes are closed and all chemical/waste containers are sealed. There will be elevated temperatures and higher than usual humidity so make sure to protect any materials or equipment that may be sensitive to these conditions. VENTILATION at ROGER ADAMS LABORATORY (0116) from Wed 2023/08/09 06:00 to Mon 2023/08/14 17:00 - (EMERGENCY)

Ventilation Area. : 2nd,3rd & 4th floor labs, South RAL

Outage Reason : F&S will be performing energy recovery wheel replacements in both of the units listed above. This is a critical project for all parties relying on this equipment.

Building Sections affected : 2^nd-4^th Floors South RAL

Building Services affected : There will be NO conditioned air or exhaust air to these spaces.

Building Occupants Effect : Elevated temperatures,no air movement with higher humidity levels in these rooms.

Comments : Please cap all chemicals contained in fume hoods and close fume hood sash doors in these locations.
