VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - OCTOBER 18TH FROM 7:00AM TO 11:00AM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the specified rooms in RAL on Tuesday, October 18^th from 7:00AM to 11:00AM. This outage is needed to replace filters for the exhaust system. During the outage, there will be no lab, fume hood, or cabinet exhaust so no research should take place in these rooms until the outage is over. To prepare for the outage, please make sure that all chemical bottles and waste containers are closed and that all fume hood sashes are closed. Further details about the outage are listed below:

Building Sections affected : Rooms 272, 273, 275, 276, 374, & 376

Building Services affected : The fume hood, general lab and any cabinet exhaust will be down.

Building Occupants Effect : NO fume hood or general lab exhaust and no cabinet exhaust.

Ventilation Fan No. : HE-1

Ventilation Area. : Hartwig Labs, 2nd & 3rd floors

Comments : Please cap all chemicals and close fume hood sashes.

Reason : To replace the filters for the exhaust system
