TO ALL IN CLSL-A:
There will be a SMOKE OUTAGE for the following
spaces: A227, A233, A243 and a CHILLED WATER OUTAGE for the
following spaces:
Prashant’s entire A233 lab will have no chilled water for the duration.
JVW lab A227A and A227 including the chiller in the closet across from
the north elevator will have no chilled water.
A205 has a small closet in the back with a small chilled water fan coil
unit in it fed from the same chilled water line as JVW A227 and A227A labs and
will be off.
These are the only areas affected. The JVW labs will hopefully be back
on sooner and Josh will be notified as soon as he is back on. This is due to
valves needing installed in the basement for Prashant’s line that will now also
serve A151. So A233 will be down for the duration (hopefully on sooner) of the
outage request.
This outage will take place on FRIDAY, AUGUST 17 from
6:00AM to 12:00PM. You may notice a slight smoke odor while
brazing is being done in these spaces. These outages are being done to
tie in chilled water to the spaces. Further details of the outage are
below:
