VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - NOVEMBER 21ST FROM 9:00AM TO 12:00PM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the listed rooms on Monday, November 21^st from 9:00AM to 12:00PM(Noon). This outage is needed to do a vibration analysis along with possible repairs to the S-3 fan. During this outage, occupants of the affected rooms may notice short periods of time without supply air. Exhaust will still be available so research can continue as usual. Further details about the outage are listed below:

Building Occupants Effect : Short period of time without supply air while air handlers are switching over to back up unit.

Comments : back up fan S-1 will take on load provided by S-3

Reason : We are doing a vibration analysis and possible repair to S-3.

VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - NOVEMBER 16TH FROM 8:00AM TO 10:00AM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th floors of South RAL on Wednesday, November 16^th from 8:00AM to 10:00AM. This outage is needed to measure energy wheels for possible replacement project. Please note that this outage will only affect the supply air to the affected areas. Exhaust will still be available so research can continue as usual. In order to compensate for the loss of supply air, please keep the doors open to any labs where the fume hoods are in use. The affected rooms are as follows:

Building Sections affected : 2nd, 3rd,4th Floors South Labs (Make up air)

Building Services affected : We will have the supply air off intermittently. Possibly both units, 101 & 102

Building Occupants Effect : Reduction in supply air.(Make up air) for a short amount of time. 15-30 minutes during the listed outage time.

Ventilation Fan No. : SFs-101 & SFs-102

Ventilation Area. : 2nd, 3rd,4th Floors South Labs (Make up air)

Comments : Please leave doors to labs open during this time to allow for loss of make up air to fume hoods. Fume Hoods can be used. This only affects the supply air.

Reason : To measure energy wheels for possible replacement project.
