VENTILATION OUTAGE - CLSL-A - OCTOBER 25TH FROM 6:00AM TO 5:00PM

TO ALL IN CLSL-A:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the listed room in CLSL-A on Saturday, October 25th from 6:00AM to 5:00PM. This outage is needed to decontaminate air handlers S1 and S2 as well as change the filters on those units. During the outage, there won't be any supply air to the affected rooms. The supply air also provides make up air to the fume hoods so they won't be functioning as well as usual. It is best to avoid using the fume hoods during the outage if possible, especially if working with highly toxic or stench chemicals. If you do need to use the fume hood, please make sure to leave your lab door open to allow for makeup air from the corridors to help the fume hoods function better. Please make sure that any chemical or waste containers that are in the fume hoods are closed and that the sashes are fully closed when someone isn't working in it. Please also cover any equipment or other items that may be sensitive to a mild chlorine-based disinfectant. Further details about the outage are listed below:
