After experiencing some unexpected complications, the leak involving the heat
recovery reclaim pipe has been isolated within the fume hood exhaust
fan. All fume hoods are now operational. **SHOULD YOU NOTICE ANY FUME HOODS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY, PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP**
UPDATE FROM CHAD STEVENS:
Heat recovery leak is occurring in the penthouse endangering lab spaces on the 5th floor. The leak is under control now but F&S need to shut the exhaust fan down serving the hoods for the labs in the NORTH part of CLSL-A. Shane Brownfield visited the labs earlier today that will be affected by the fume hood shutdown. There will be updates provided as they become available.
TO ALL IN SCS:
F & S will be performing an EMERGENCY HEAT RECOVERY OUTAGE in CLSL-A beginning at 4:00PM TODAY and going until 10:00PM to fix a leak. This means there will be NO LAB AND BUILDING AIR EXHAUST so please plan accordingly. Details of the outage are below:
