SCS Building Outages/Important Notices

VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - JANUARY 28TH FROM 6:00AM TO 10:00AM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the west wing of the 2nd-4th floors of South RAL on Tuesday, January 28th from 6:00AM to 10:00AM. This outage is needed to change filters on the DOA-101 fans. During the outage, there will be reduced supply air and NO fume hood/cabinet exhaust air available in the affected rooms so no research should be taking place. To prepare for the outage, please make sure that all chemical/waste containers are sealed and that fume hood sashes are closed. Further details about the outage are listed below:

Building Services affected : There will be Reduced supply air and NO exhaust air to the Fume Hoods on the South walls of labs.

Building Occupants Effect : Reduced conditioned air and NO fume hood or cabinet exhaust for South fume hoods.

Ventilation Fan No. : DOA-101 Supply and Exhaust Fans

Ventilation Area. : see rooms below

Comments : Please CAP all chemicals and CLOSE all sashes to fume hoods.

Reason : We are changing the filters on the exhaust side of this system.

LOW PRESSURE STEAM OUTAGE - NOYES LAB - JANUARY 9TH FROM 7:30AM TO 12:00PM

TO ALL IN NOYES LAB:

F&S is conducting a LOW PRESSURE STEAM OUTAGE affecting Noyes Lab on Thursday, January 9^th from 7:30AM to 12:00PM(Noon). This outage is needed to fix the main steam trap. During the outage, building occupants may experience cooler than normal temperatures. Further details about the outage are listed below:
