VENTILATION OUTAGE - SOUTH RAL - JANUARY 28TH FROM 6:00AM TO 10:00AM

TO ALL IN SOUTH RAL:

F&S will be conducting a VENTILATION OUTAGE affecting the listed labs in South RAL on Wednesday, January 28th from 6:00AM to 10:00AM. This outage is needed to change filters on the exhaust fans serving those rooms. During the outage, there will be no exhaust air available in the affected rooms so no research should be taking place. To prepare for the outage, please make sure that all chemical/waste containers are sealed and that fume hood sashes are closed. Further details about the outage are listed below:

LAB VACUUM OUTAGE - CLSL-A THIRD FLOOR - JANUARY 27TH FROM 7:00AM TO 3:30PM

LSOs/Faculty,

F&S will be conducting a LAB VACUUM OUTAGE affecting the 3^rd floor of CLSL-A on Tuesday, January 27^th from 7:00AM to 3:30PM. This outage is needed to repipe a section of the vacuum line in room A327. During the outage, all labs on the 3^rd floor will be without lab vacuum at both the fume hood turrets and bench turrets. To prepare for the outage, the occupants of A327 will need to clear the area around the sink and affected fume hood of all flammable materials and other obstructions. TO ALL IN RAL:

F&S will be conducting a CHILLED WATER OUTAGE affecting RAL on Thursday, January 22^nd from 7:00AM to 3:00PM. This outage is needed to clean the building chilled water strainer. During the outage, occupants may notice warmer than usual temperatures. The outage will also shut down the cold room in 160 RAL so make sure to relocate any temperature sensitive materials to a different storage location until the outage is complete. F&S will be conducting an outage affecting Davenport Hall on Thursday, January 22^nd from 4:00AM to 2:30PM. This outage is needed to repair a leaking flange on a low pressure steam line. During the outage, the low pressure steam, heat, and domestic hot water systems will be turned off so there will not be any hot water available and the building may be cooler than usual.
