F & S will be conducting a CHILLED WATER DISCHARGE OUTAGE on AUGUST 1 from 7:00AM to 3:30PM.  This outage is being conducted so chilled water service can be ran to the African American Cultural Center.  You may notice warmer temps in both buildings.  Further details of the outage are below:

Fire Pump Testing: CLSL-A -- MON, JULY 23

TO ALL IN CLSL-A:

The SCS Facilities & Safety team received word there will be fire pump testing done at CLSL-A on Monday, July 23.  You shouldn’t notice any impact since the alarms will not need to be activated.  Further information of the testing is below:

Testing of the fire pump in your building has been scheduled.  The fire pump testing will not require the building fire alarm system to be activated and therefore we do not anticipate disruptions of the normal building activities. However, a hose may cross a sidewalk, parking lot, etc.  Facilities and Services trades will be performing testing in the building during this time.

VENTILATION OUTAGE - RAL - WED, JULY 18 - 6AM TO 9AM

TO ALL IN RAL:

F & S is requesting a VENTILATION OUTAGE on WED, JULY 18 from 6AM to 9AM for the following areas:

Rooms: 4th floor 433,435,435A,464,464A,466,468,468A and C400K. 3rd floor 333,335,335A,336B and C300K. 2nd floor 216,216A,219,221,233,235,235A,236B,264,266,268,270,271 and 271E. 1st floor 129,129A,135,135A,164,164A166,170,171 and C100K. Ground floor OL,COK,12,14,19,33,35,64,66,68,70, and 71.

They need this outage to determine if the chilled water coil on the air handling unit that serves those areas is leaking and repair it if necessary.  This will means there will be NO SUPPLY AIR,  A SLIGHT RISE IN ROOM TEMPS, & NO MAKE UP AIR FOR FUME HOODS.  If your area is going to be affected and this will slow any research, please let us know ASAP.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.  This information can also be found on the SCS Building Outages/Important Notices blog:  www.scsbuildingoutages.blogspot.com.
